Founder and CEO, Facing Autism with Children Everywhere (FACE)
In January 2013, Shanté Harris- Superville founded Facing Autism with Children Everywhere (FACE) in direct response to her own need as a mother of a child with autism. Through her organization she has become a local advocate working tirelessly to increase public awareness
of the needs of children with autism and other developmental differences, as well as the needs of their families.
Her organization provides a number of services to support this special community through FACE’s Place Respite Care, Summer Camp and
After School Programs. In addition, she has also served the community by working as a wheel chair dance instructor and cooking instructor for adults with autism.
In February 2014 Shanté was the winner of the 45th NAACP Image Awards Hometown Champion contest sponsored by WKYS (93.9). As the
winner, she and her husband received an allexpenses paid trip to California where she walked the red carpet and attended the show.
Her family was invited to the White House in honor of Autism Awareness Month in 2014, and in 2015, Shanté was asked to return to celebratethe signing of the ABLE Act by President Obama.

Shanté, a 16 year cancer survivor, holds a degree in Nursing. She currently resides in Montgomery County with her husband, Chris, their 12
year old son Dylan, and their two cats, Sookie and Gizmo.
